Miller was a member of three consecutive Northeast Conference Tournament championships teams (1991, 1992, 1993) and owns the Robert Morris career record for stolen bases (58). She also ranks in the top 10 in school history in both runs (101) and fielding percentage (.990). In 1991, Miller hit .376, which stood as the RMU single-season record for 10 years. Miller still holds the program's single-season record for stolen bases with 23, which she established in 1990. Miller was named to the 1991 All-NEC Tournament Team and also earned a spot on the 1991 GTE District II Academic All-America Team. A native of Clarion, Pa., Miller also played for the Colonial women's basketball team.
