Timmerson was a four-year letterwinner for Robert Morris and as a point guard helped lead the Colonials to three appearances in the NCAA Tournament (1989, 1990 and 1992). He owns the RMU career record for assist-to-turnover ratio (2.02) while ranking third in assists per game (4.1) and fourth in assists (484). During the 1991-92 campaign, Timmerson became the first student-athlete in program history to eclipse 200 assists in a season with 204, which stood as the single-season mark for over 15 years until being eclipsed in 2008. A native of McDonald, Pa., Timmerson finished his career with 868 points.
