Kirsten helped the RMU varsity heavyweight four claim the Margaret McNiff Trophy at the 2000 Dad Vail Championships in Philadelphia, Pa., serving as the coxswain. Robert Morris won the race in a time of 7:25.48, beating out Bucknell (7:28.63), Bowdoin (7:33.40), Pittsburgh (7:42.12), Florida (7:42.12) and Carnegie Mellon (7:47.92). She is a native of Macomb, Mich.
