RMU Athletic Hall of Fame
2012-15
Arguably the most dominating pitcher in program history, Sleith was named the Northeast Conference (NEC) Pitcher of the Year three times (2012, 2013, 2015). In 2012, in addition to being named NEC Pitcher of the Year, she was also selected as the NEC Rookie of the Year. Sleith is one of just four student-athletes in program history to be named to the All-NEC First Team three times, garnering the honor each of the three years she was selected NEC Pitcher of the Year. Sleith owns RMU single-season marks for appearances (48), innings pitched (247), strikeouts (296), saves (5) and wins (25). In the career record book, Sleith is the program's leader in appearances (147), starts (114), strikeouts (932), victories (78) and saves (13), while her career earned run average (ERA) of 1.70 ranks second to only RMU Athletic Hall of Famer Tera Prosser (1.59). In the 2015 NEC Tournament, Sleith, a native of Smithton, Pa., spun a perfect game in a 2-0 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson at the North Athletic Complex. It marked the first perfect game in program history as well as Sleith's third career no hitter. She was also named the 2014-15 NEC Female Student-Athlete of the Year, the first ever honoree of either gender for RMU. The honor recognizes excellence in both the academic and athletic realms as well as leadership and contributions in the community.
