A native of Huntington, W.Va., Dickey was one of the most dominant track athletes in school history. A member of the 1998 and 2000 women’s squads that claimed Northeast Conference indoor championships, she was named the 2000 NEC Most Outstanding Track Performer at the indoor championships after claiming individual titles in both the 55-meter hurdles and the 500-meter dash. For indoor track and field, Dickey owns school records for the 200 (24.61), 400 (55.71) and 500-meter (1:11.81) dashes, the 55-meter high hurdles (7.94) and the 60-meter high hurdles (8.45). She also was a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that owns the indoor school record with a time of 3:50.85. In outdoor track and field, Dickey owns school records for the 100-meter hurdles (13.50) and the 400-meter intermediate hurdles (59.37). She is also a member of the 4x100-meter (47.55) and the 4x400-meter relay (3:54.35) teams that own outdoor school records.
